Jean Elmore

Graveside services for Jean Grant Elmore, age 85 will be held Thursday at 4:00 at the Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home.

Jean was born in Union a daughter of the late Olin C. Grant and Gertrude Younger Grant. She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Ann (Rick) Clanton, Mt. Pleasant, Kay (Gregg) DeWitt, Florence and Claudia (Duane) Gray, Florence; two sons, Alec Elmore, Myrtle Beach and Kyle (Gloria) Elmore, Hartsville; one brother, Johnny (Bobbi) Grant, Hartsville; 9 grandchildren, Meredith Clanton Bentley, Dr. Leah Clanton, Parker DeWitt, Quinton (Peden) Gray, Elizabeth Elmore, Ryan and Jarett Elmore and Caeden and Chandler Elmore; 3 great grandchildren, Aiden and Jackson Bentley , Dayton DeWitt.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Clarence Alexander Elmore.
