Woodrow Jack Wilson

July 7, 1941 — August 14, 2021

Woodrow Jackson “Jack” Wilson of McBee, SC, passed away on August 14, 2021 at Carolina Pines Hospital in Hartsville, SC.  Born on July 7, 1941, Dr. Wilson was 80 years of age when he passed.  Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Lt. Colonel Thomas Woodrow Wilson and the late Rebecca Burch Wilson of Leesville, SC.  He was also preceded in death by his younger sister, Doris Wilson Antley, of Leesville, SC.  Dr. Wilson was a former Sergeant in the United States Army and was a member of the US Army Drill Team, serving in the 3rd Infantry at Ft. Myer VA.  After his honorable discharge from the military, Dr. Wilson was a successful attorney, boat builder, and real estate developer.  He is survived by his son, Dr. Kyle Ashley Wilson, granddaughter Ashley Rose Wilson, grandson Malcolm Thomas Wilson, and daughter-in-law Mariannice Katherine Wilson, all of Travelers Rest, SC.  He was especially grateful for his cousins and extended family in McBee, SC., his nephews Chris Antley of Mt. Pleasant SC., and Burch Antley of Leesville, SC.  He also loved his two cats Stripes and Midnight.
