Windle Prosser

Mrs. Windle Polson Prosser of Bishopville, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Monday morning, October 30th, 2017, at the age of 87.

The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening, from 5-7 p.m. at Norton Funeral Home of Bishopville. A family led memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in St. Matthew United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Kathy Carr, Dr. Donald Prosser, and Rev. Mitch Prosser.

Mrs. Prosser was born in Bishopville, a daughter of the late Fletcher & Piety Baxley Polson. She was a graduate of Bishopville High School, a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s Group.

She is survived by her children: Janice Cope of Lamar, Charles Prosser and wife, Pam of Tampa, Florida, Charlene Lawyer of Columbia, Sue Chace and husband, Bill Camden, George Allen of Bishopville, Dr. Donald Prosser and wife, Rhonda of Augusta, Georgia, Cecil Prosser and wife, Suzanna of Luxembourg; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Edward Prosser; and siblings.
