William E. "Bill" King

Services for Mr. William E. (Bill) King age 89 will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 4:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Pastor Tom McLean and Pastor Scott Davis will officiate.  Entombment will be in the Westview Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation will be held on Monday, 4:00-6:00pm at Mr. King’s residence, 725 East Home Avenue, Hartsville, SC.

Mr. King was born in McBee, SC the son of the late J.B. and Ida Mae Hall King.  He was a member of South Hartsville Baptist Church.  He was a Mason and worked Construction most of his life.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Willie Mae Dixon King, Hartsville; daughter, Janie (Beasley) McKenzie, Hartsville; son, William (Kirk) King, Hartsville; sisters, Alice Catoe, Joanna, Betty Lou Smith, Hartsville; brother, Sonny (Brenda) King, Hartsville; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by grandchildren, Adam McKenzie and Alison McKenzie; sister, Mildred Kelly, brothers, Horace, Buddy and Frank King.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
