William McCathern

Bishopville, S.C. Funeral services for William James McCathern age 78, who passed away September 26, will be held Monday at 2:00 at Mt. Hebron Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Jack Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 pm at the Funeral Home. Mr. McCathern was born in Bishopville a son of the late Kirven Walter & Judith White McCathern. He was retired from Springs Mill. Surviving are three daughters, Willie Mae Banks, Bethune, Barbara Elmore, Sumter and Louise Anderson, Kershaw; Nine Grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; three brothers, Frank McCathern, Live Oak, Fl, Herbert McCathern, Cassatt and Don McCathern, Camden; two sisters, Lela Hough, Cassatt and Shirley Privette, Camden. www.nortonfh.net
