Services of Remembrance for William (Will) Archie Kimbrell, IV age 54 will be held 3:00pm Monday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pastor Danny Holley and Pastor Dan Sullivan will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, 4:00-6:00pm at Norton Funeral Home.
Will passed away on October 11, 2019. He was born in Florence the son of William Archie Kimbrell, III and Wanda Flowers Kimbrell. He attended Greater Heights Baptist Church, he was owner and operator of Archie’s Top Shop in Hartsville. A few of his numerous hobbies were playing golf and shooting pool. Will was an outstanding Dirt Bike Motorcross racer, winning most of his races, he was known for his number “8K”. He was the coach of the Hot Styx girls softball team when they won the World Series Championship.
He loved his family, especially spending time with his daughters and his granddaughters.
The family wanted it mentioned, please do not feel sorry for them, they loved Will and they know beyond a doubt that he loved them, he expressed this to them every day, they are forever thankful that Will Kimbrell was a husband, dad, granddad, son, brother and friend.
Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 32 years, Gail Bass Kimbrell, Hartsville; parents of Hartsville; daughters, Whitney (David Gainey) Kimbrell, Hartsville, Lindsey (Jake Murphy) Kimbrell, Hartsville; granddaughters, Kymber Raine Gainey and Tilly Marie Murphy, both of Hartsville; sister, Ka-Ran Howle, Hartsville; niece, Morgan Howle, Hartsville, Drake Howle, Hartsville; mother in law, Nita Bass, Hartsville; special friends, Ray Hemby, Jimmy Shumate and Billy Teal.
