Wayne Howle

Mr. Wayne Howle, 76, of Hartsville, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, November 8th, 2018.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in Calvary Tabernacle Church.  Reverends Tim Skipper and Buster Rush will officiate with burial following in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 - 2:00 prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Howle was born in Hartsville, a son of the late R.C. & Thelma Tolson Howle.  Wayne will be remembered as a jack of all trades, but most importantly, he will be remembered as a man who loved God.  He served as a missionary throughout portions of Africa; preaching and teaching the word of God.  He also served as an elder at Calvary Tabernacle Church.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Dennis Howle of the home; children: Barbara Howitz and husband, Michael of Hartsville, Samantha Rush and husband, Thomas of Hartsville, Kimberly Howle of Hartsville; grandchildren: Josh Weatherford, Leslie Bewley, Corey Howle, Jacob Rush; great-grandchildren, Zayne & Lizzie; siblings: Richard Howle and wife, Judy, Joe Howle and wife, Joyce, Don Howle and wife, Bernice and Ronnie Howle and wife, Wanda.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Rita Jordan & Joshua Howle; brothers, Allen Howle, William Howle, and sister, Virginia Howle.
