Wanda Catoe Johnson

Mrs. Wanda Catoe Johnson, 70, of Hartsville, passed away Monday morning, December 28th, 2020, while at home with her family.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, December 30th, 2020, from Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend John “Bootsie” Griggs officiating.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the graveside.

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Rudolph & Constance Sumner Catoe.  She was a retired school teacher after 28 years of service to North Hartsville Elementary and played the piano for 65 years.  Wanda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going to the beach.

Surviving are her husband, Tommy Johnson of the home; daughter, Stacey (Byron) Smith of Hartsville and son, Trey (Trena) Johnson also of Hartsville; grandchildren: Kassie (Blake) Riley, Raleigh Johnson, Thomas W. Johnson, IV, Alexis Lewis; great-grandchild, Wes Riley; and a sister, Gail (Johnny) Russ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Rudy Catoe and Randy Catoe.
