Funeral services for Vima Lee Hopkins, age 86, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 at the Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Homer Hinson will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hopkins was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Jack Newman and Emma Stevens Mozingo. She was retired from Kendall Mills and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Surviving are six sons, Bobby (Marie) Hopkins, Lamar, Robert (Deborah) Hopkins, Bethune, Richard Hopkins, Bishopville, Jackie (Vickie) Hopkins, Camden, Thomas Hopkins, Red Hill and Billy Hopkins, Sumter; 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell C. Hopkins.
