Victor Britt

Myrtle Beach, SC Victor Allen Britt 70 passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was born August 4, 1943, in Monroe, N.C. a son of the late Joseph H. and Ethel Brock Britt. Victor was formerly of Hartsville. Known as Lil Daddy was the varsity girls basketball coach at Emmanuel Baptist School where they won multiple state championships. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, and Pepa. He was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church, enjoyed playing golf and was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Air Force He is survived by his wife; Sheila J. Britt, his children, Victoria B. Leftis, Ronald Allen Britt, and Kimberly B. Lee and husband Scott, three brothers, Joseph H. Britt Jr, Willis Britt and Walter Britt, two sisters, Myrtle Bedenbaugh and Edith Watkins. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Justin, Dimitri, Kristina, Taylor, Brittany and Carson. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Ocean View Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the church parlor from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The family will also receive friends Monday, April 28, 2014, at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville, S.C. from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM. Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM at Magnolia Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to Ocean View Baptist Church 7300 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
