View Remembrance Video Hartsville, S.C. Verlee Odom Lambert, age 85, a faithful servant went to be with her Lord on April 3. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at the Darlington Memory Gardens directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Murray will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 2:30 at Norton Funeral Home. Mrs. Lambert was born in Darlington a daughter of the late Raleigh G. & Corria King Odom. She retired from Council on Aging and was a member of Forest Hill Independent Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Janet (Carl) Fish, Moncure, N.C.; one son, Mike king, Hartsville; one daughter in Law, Cynde Knotts, Hartsville; one sister, Louise Davis, Darlington; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gainey, Hartsville, Anna King, Hartsville and Jonathan Fish, Carrboro, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Maxie King and James Edward Lambert, one son, Maxie David King,brothers & sisters. Norton Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lambert family.
