Vanessa Huggins

Florence, S.C. Funeral services for Vanessa Brock Huggins, age 51, who passed away October 14, will be held Friday at 4:00 at Kelleytown Baptist Church in Hartsville. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the serviceat the church. Vanessa was born in Hartsville a daughter of Thomas V. & Alice Sellers Brock. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Florence where she sang in the Choir and played in the Handbell Choir, was a member of the Palmetto Ballroom Dance Club and the Tri-City Shag Club, Advocacy Chair for American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Active in the Seaside Emmaus Community, Board member for the Florence Little Theatre, Supporter of Frances Marion University Performing Arts Center, Supporter of Springbank Retreat Center. She graduated from Hartsville High School in 1979, graduated from Francis Marion University in May 2000 with a BS Degree in Computer Information Systems Management. She was Programmer/Analyst at Farmers Telephone in Kingstree since 1999. Surviving are her parents of Hartsville; one daughter, Rachael Ann Huggins, Hemingway, S.C.; two sisters, Cathy (Van) Hopkins, Camden, Anita Ventura, Florence; two brothers, Tony (Kathy) Brock, Cross and Ivan Brock, Hartsville.
