Travis Heyward Brown

Funeral services for Travis Heyward Brown age 80 will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the Red Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Steen will officiate. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Travis was born in Rembert a son of the late Walter and Cleo Corbett Brown. He was a member of the Red Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a carpenter and was a Charter Member of the Black Creek Coon Hunters Club in Darlington and was the oldest living member.

Surviving are one daughter, Cathy (Allen McKnight) Brown, Rembert; one son, Heyward Brown, Rembert; one sister in law, Brenda Kornfehl, Sumter; one Niece, Karen James, Sumter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Britt Brown; one sister, Iris Sneed and husband Carroll.
