Thomas Tyner

Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Thomas (Tommy) Tyner, age 83, who passed away April 13, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the New Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Cliff Leonard will officiate. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church. Tommy was born in Hartsville a son of the late William T. & Emma Hunter Tyner. He was retired from Galley & Lord Textile, member of New Providence Baptist Church and a Veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are, one brother, L.H. Tyner, Hartsville, one sister, Betty Adams, Society Hill. He was preceded in death by his first wife Gwenlyon Tyner & his second wife Sara Tyner; daughter, Jackie Smithy; sisters, Emma Jane Atkinson, Pauline Gainey; brothers, Dargan & Dennis Tyner. www.nortonfh.net.
