Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Thomas Earl (Tommy) Blackwell, age 52, who passed away June 25, will be held Thursday at 3:00 at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Alvin Rogers and Ms. Linda Greene will officiate. Burial will be in New Market Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5-7 at the Funeral Home. Tommy was born in Bishopville a son of Mary Kelley McDougald and the late Ernest L. Blackwell. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked at Talley Metal for 17 years. He graduated from Hartsville High School in 1979 and attended Francis Marion College. Surviving are his mother, Hartsville; His Step-Father, Rev.James L.McDougald, Hartsville; two sisters, Linda (Frank) Greene, Rock Hill and Phyllis C. King, Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Frankie Christmas , Hartsville and Eddie Christmas, Society Hill;three nephews, Elliott Christmas, Hartsville, Seth Dean, Myrtle Beach and Michael Christmas, Hartsville; Uncle & Aunt, Bud & Ella Morrison, Hartsville;two nieces, Mary Beth Arthur and Lindsey Arthur, Rock Hill; one aunt, Elizabeth Blackwell, Bishopville.
