Tally Lee McCaskill

Funeral services for Tally Lee McCaskill age 84, will be held Friday at 4:00 at the Mt. Hebron Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Jack Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. McCaskill was born in Camden a son of the late Charlie and Susie Raybon McCaskill. He was retired from Kendall Mills after 20 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Free Will Baptist Church. He loved farming and raising cows.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Melton McCaskill, Cassatt; one daughter and son in law, Angie (Travis) Threatt, Cassatt; one sister, Ethylene Hewitt, Florence; one grandchild and granddaughter in law, T.J. (Brittany) Hinson, Cassatt; two great grandchildren, Landon and Gavin Hinson, Cassatt; Son In Law, Andy Hood, Sumter; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha McCaskill; daughter, Lynda Hood; four brothers, Joe, Nick, C.W. and J.B. McCaskill; one sister Frances Elmore.
