Bishopville – Mrs. Suma Lee Bryant Amerson, 84, went to be with The Lord on Saturday morning, June 22nd, 2019, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday morning, June 25th, 2019, from the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends anytime at the home, 176 Woodham Road in Bishopville.
Mrs. Amerson was born in Society Hill, a daughter of the late John Paulie & Ruby Marshall Bryant. Suma enjoyed working in her yards and dearly loved her family. Another place Suma loved to work was at church. After reading through her Bible 31 times, she had just started reading through it again.
Mrs. Amerson is survived by her daughter, Paulette Riley and husband, David of Bishopville; sons, Eddie Amerson and wife, Carol of Bishopville and Donnie Amerson and fiancé, Kim Ward of Bishopville; grandchildren: Wayne Riley and wife, Amah, Christy Riley, Johnnie (Hannah Holden) Amerson; great-grandchildren: Caleb Riley, Josh Riley, Ava Riley, Carson Riley; a sister, Elizabeth Blackwell.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Diane Stokes for all she did in assisting with Mrs. Amerson.
