View Remembrance Video Hartsville, SC Services for Mr. Steve J. Taylor age 67 widower of Leverna TuTu Smith Taylor will be held Wednesday at 11:00am at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. William Griggs will officiate with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Steve passed away on Sunday afternoon at McLeod RMC. He was born in Bennettsville the son of the late Smith Robert and Josephine E. Bunch Taylor. He was a member of Piney Plains Freewill Baptist Church and was retired from Sonoco Products Company. Steve was passionate about his involvement through the years as a southern country gospel music singer. Surviving are his son, Cory D. Taylor, Hartsville; daughters, Beth Roscoe (Thomas) Powers, Hartsville, Joye Roscoe (George) Milton, Ocoee, FL; brother, Robert (Peggy) Taylor, Hartsville. 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
