Stephen William Steeves, age 53, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 7. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. John Kakish and Rev. David Hellmig will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7 at the funeral home.
Stephen was born in Greenville a son of William Hubert and Joan Porter Steeves. He was associated with Sonoco Products Company for the past 29 years, was a member of the Old Timers Club and a member of the Church of God of The Reformation. He was a loving son, husband and father and looked forward to his yearly fishing trip in Canada with his family. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed going to the Races with his son.
Surviving are his parents, of Saint John NB Canada; his wife, Debra Lynn Wheeler Steeves, Hartsville; one daughter, Ashley Ann (Larry) O’Neal, Hartsville; one son, Justin William Steeves, Hartsville; one brother, Danny (Cindy) Steeves, Greenville; two sisters, Carolyn (Phillip) Campbell, Fort McMurray AB Canada and Charla (David) Szweda, Pittsburgh, PA.
