Graveside services of Remembrance for Sidney McLendon Beasley age 78 will be held 4:00pm Thursday at Westview Cemetery Mausoleum.  Pastor Charles McLendon and Savannah Beasley will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  The family will welcome guest to stop by and visit at the residence of Billy Beasley, 1520 Tema Road, Hartsville, SC, anytime Wednesday, between the hours of 12:00pm till 8:00pm.  Friends are welcome to stop by the funeral home and sign the guest registry.

Sidney went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 21, 2021 at her residence with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late Edward and Annie Mae Mixon McLendon.  She was a member of Hartsville Advent Christian Church.  She worked at Legg’s Hoisery for over 20 years, she enjoyed listening to Gospel Music.  Sidney was a loving wife, mother, she loved and cherished her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Billy Beasley, Hartsville; sons, Frankie (Christy) Beasley, Hartsville, Scotty Beasley, Hartsville; brother, Charles (Barbara) McLendon, Hartsville; grandchildren, Rachel (Mike) Rhodes, Goldsboro, NC, Mara (Matt) Webster, Timmonsville, Storm (Maggie) Beasley, Brooks Beasley, Cole Beasley and Savannah Beasley all of Hartsville; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie M. Steele, Joyce M. Brigman, brother, Edward “Bud” McLendon, Jr.
