Sherry Ellison Tallon

Sherry Ellison Tallon passed away at her home in Spartanburg, SC on Sunday the 19th of September, 2021 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her father Heber J. Ellison, and brother David Kim Ellison.

Sherry is survived by her mother Geraldine Cook Ellison, Trudy Watson (sister),  Gary Ellison (brother), and her five children  Dee (Leslie) Tallon, Minnette (Matthew) Lusk, Kevin (Susan) Tallon,Bryant (Jillian) Tallon, MaryEllen (Kyle) Ensign, and 14 grandchildren.

Sherry was born in Pacolet, SC on August 6th 1948. She attended school there before moving to Hartsville, where she graduated from Hartsville High School in 1966.  She worked as a Pediatric Nurse for 25 years at Byerly Hospital and Carolina Pines.

Sherry enjoyed trips to the beach, collecting seashells, crafting, baking, and spending time with family and friends.  Christmas was her favorite time of year because it personified the things she cherished most in life; Christ, family, and service to others.  She will be forever remembered for her kindness, humility and charity for all.

The Graveside Service for Sherry will be held at 1pm, Friday September 24th, 2021 at Magnolia Cemetery in Hartsville, SC.  Family will receive visitors after the service at 601 Gandy Dr.  Hartsville, SC.
