Funeral services for Sarah Roberta McCutchen age 56, will be held Friday at 11:00 at the Bishopville Presbyterian Church. Rev. Chris Parnell will officiate. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Sarah was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Robert Calvin McCutchen, Jr. and Amy Kelley McCutchen. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee Academy, and graduated from Winthrop College. She was a Teacher at the Bishopville Primary School for more than 20 years. She loved God, family and friends and had a bubbly spirit and personality and loved children.

Surviving are two sisters, Lena Rivers McCutchen, Bishopville and Leila E. McCutchen, Bishopville; one brother, Robert C. (Julie) McCutchen, III, Hartsville; one aunt, Sara M. Burgess, Bishopville; one Uncle, Francis W. (Pete) McCutchen, New York; special nephew, Jay McCutchen, Hartsville and a special niece, Amy Beth McCutchen, Hartsville; a family friend, P.J. Garcia, Bishopville; several cousins and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for Memorials to be made to Bishopville Presbyterian Church, Choir Fund at P.O. Box 66, Bishopville, SC 29010 or a Charity of ones choice.
