McBee, S.C. Funeral services for Sara Freeman Earle age 88, who passed away June 22, will be held Monday at 4:00 at the McBee Baptist Church. Dr. Wayne Williams, Rev. Danny Holley and Rev. John Helms will officiate. Burial will be in the McBee Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 pm at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Earle was born in Easley a daughter of the late William Barney & Nancy Wyatt Freeman. She was a member of the McBee Baptist Church, where she served as the organist and pianist for over 30 years and she was Postmistress at the McBee Post Office for 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are four sons, Edward Benson (Ben) Earle, Jr., Dallas, N.C., William Freeman Earle and wife Teresa, Hartsville, Walter Patrick (Pat) and wife Vicky, Hartsville, David Lawrence Earle, McBee; one sister, Lala Freeman, Easley; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Edward Benson (EB) Earle, Sr. and six siblings. Memorials may be made to the McBee Baptist Church, P.O. Box 416, McBee, S.C. 29101
