It is with deep sorrow that her family announces the death of their beloved mother, Mrs. Sandra Tyner, 84.
Ms. Tyner was born October 16,1940 in Bennettsville, SC. She is the daughter of the late F.M.(Buddy) Lavina and Margaret Anderson Lavina. She retired from Morphis Pediatrics. In her work career she worked for Dr. Nickles and Dr. Bell, Medical Arts Pharmacy and Morphis Pediatrics.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and traveling to Pawleys Island, Asheville, NC and Bluffton to visit her family.
She was married to Franklin Tyner for 42 years. She was a devoted caregiver for her beloved husband, Frank, when he became ill.
She was an expert canner of all types of fruits and vegetables and loved sharing the results of her hard work with her friends and family.
The family would like to thank the caring doctors and nurses of Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center and her special friend and nursing assistant Shirley, the staff at the Retreat especially Hailey and Lashonda and her physical therapist, Chalie Skelton.
She is survived by her sons, Earl N. (Lori) Yarborough, Treacy Yarborough, Brian Yarborough (Trey Griffin), Mark (Cindy) Yarborough; Granddaughter, Megan Boucher, Sarah (Sam) Prince, Catherine Yarborough (Matthew Nettles); Great-Grandsons, Liam Boucher, Sammy Prince and Great-Granddaughter Annie Prince. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Tyner.
Her service will be conducted at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon, November 23rd, 2024, from the Kelleytown Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Lin Kirkman officiating. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening, November 22nd, 2024, from 5-7 at Norton Funeral Home and at other times at the residence of Earll Yarborough at 1145 Mainsail Drive, Hartsville.
