Sandra Lee Turner Crowley

We are saddened to announce the passing of Sandra Turner Crowley.  A visitation of remembrance will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at Norton Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm.  

Mrs. Crowley age 79 passed away on Tuesday, December 26 while at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC.  She was born in Cheraw, SC the daughter of the late F. Neil Turner, Sr. and the late Charlotte R. Turner.  

Mrs. Crowley worked as a secretary and was a homemaker.  She was passionate about cooking and baking for her family, she enjoyed reading and collecting cookbooks.  

Left to cherish her memory are her children, William "Billy" Crowley (Cindi), Jason Crowley (Ann), Sloan Crowley (April); grandchildren, Alex Crowley (Katie), Kayleigh Johnson (Everett), Neil Crowley; step granddaughter, Kelli Carter (Jack, Jr.) Elvington; step grandsons, Alex Groves, Michael Bailey, Jr. (Lisa); great grandchildren, Michael, Anna, Lucas and Blake; sister, Gaynelle Brown; brother, Jimmy Turner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Edward "Jay" Crowley, brother, Neil Turner, Jr. and a beloved daughter in law, Mary Beth Gutstein.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations made to the Darlington County Humane Society, PO Box 1655, Hartsville, SC 29551.

The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to Margaret Floyd, a dear friend, neighbor and caretaker to whom Sandra was very fond.  Our hearts are so grateful for the love, compassion, and support that Margaret has shown to Sandra and our family.
