Ruth Leola Freeman Floyd

Funeral services for Ruth Leola Freeman Floyd age 83 will be held Saturday at 11:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Hazel Mixon and Rev. William Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Lamar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Floyd was born in Lamar a daughter of the late Baston and Ruth White Freeman. She was a member of Bible Truth Holiness Church. She had worked at the Lamar Knitting Mill.

Surviving is one brother, James W. Freeman, Patrick; sister, Rebecca Ann Plachek, Florence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Floyd; son, Daniel Earl Freeman; brothers, Melvin & Henry Freeman; sisters, Betty Knotts, Mary Ellen Owens and Mamie Freeman.
