Roy Marion Winburn

Hartsville, SC 

     Mr. Roy Marion Winburn passed away Tuesday morning, August 6th, 2024, at the age of 62.

     Beloved son, husband, father, and friend who loved nothing more than being with his family and friends. Roy served honorably in the United States Navy for 20 years as an Aviation Ordenanceman, then transitioned to civilian life becoming a CAD Drafter working for several large engineering companies focusing on our nation's infrastructure.

     Roy leaves behind his father, Roy F Winburn, loving wife of 42 years Lauri, and daughters Kristen (Brian) and Courtney; along with the 3 beloved family dogs. He had many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends who will miss his quiet presence. Roy joins his mother, Mae, sister Sherri along with Grandparents, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

     His funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 on Monday afternoon, August 12th, 2024, from the Florence National Cemetery with Reverend Danny Winburn officiating and Military Honors being provided by the United States Navy.  The family will be receiving friends Monday evening, following the service from 5-7 at the residence, 3913 N. Center Rd., Hartsville.
