Roxie McDonald

Hartsville, S.C.

Funeral services for Roxie Marlene O’Neal McDonald age 59, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Eastside Holiness Church. Rev. Trae Smoak, Rev. Steve Winburn and Rev. Hazel Mixon will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday 4-6 pm at the funeral home.

Marlene was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late John Henry Heustess Walters and Bernice Morgan Walters. She was a member of Eastside Holiness Church. She was a talented Musician and Vocalist and was a Music Therapist at the Saleeby Center for several years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving are one daughter, Dawn (Lance) Arrants, Hartsville; one son, Michael O’Neal, Hartsville; two sisters, Elaine Walters Futrell, Hartsville and Cora Lee (Jimmy) Dial, Hartsville; two grandchildren, Edge and Easton Arrants, Hartsville; family friend, Shane Barrett, Hartsville.

Memorials may be made to Eastside Holiness Church, 201 South McFarland Street, Hartsville, S.C. 29550.
