Rose Marie Tyner Moore

Hartsville, SC 

     Mrs. Rose Marie “Blossom” Tyner Moore, 61, passed away during the early morning hours of Sunday, March 31^st, 2024.

     A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Sid Lee & Betty Jean Smith Tyner.  Blossom worked in the healthcare industry for many years as a Respiratory Therapist.  She was associated with Byerly Hospital, Carolina Pines RMC, and Chesterfield General Hospital.  Blossom loved animals in general, but especially her chickens.  

     Surviving is her husband, Carl Moore of the home; daughter, Carla Moore Branham of Lexington; sister, Kathy Tyner McFarland of Hartsville; and her best friend, Cindy Boan Freeman of Hartsville. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Barbara Jean “Tootsie” Tyner Steen and Marvin Lee “Dick” Tyner.

     The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday evening, from 5-7 at the residence, 1240 Patrick Hwy. Hartsville, SC 29550.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Darlington County Humane Society at PO Box 1655 Hartsville, SC 29551.
