Rosa Margaret Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at her home on November 13, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on June 4, 1946, in Alexandria, Virginia, Rosa lived a life rich in love, joy, and accomplishment.
Her professional journey saw her flourish as a loan officer at First National Bank in Bishopville, where her dedication and expertise left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of working with her.
Outside of her professional life, Rosa was an avid bowler and a passionate golfer. Her spirit truly shone through her hobbies, with one of her proudest achievements being a remarkable hole in one at Fox Creek Golf Course—a feat that brought her immense joy and satisfaction.
Rosa is survived by her devoted husband, Bingham Randolph Davis, Jr. of Bishopville, who shared in her laughter and dreams; her loving children, Scott Simpson (Jennifer) of Virginia, Shaun Simpson (Mary), of Florida and Renee O'Neil (William) of Marland, who carry forward her legacy of warmth and care; and five treasured grandchildren. She is also remembered fondly by her siblings—Connie, Sally, Spencer, and Mickey—each of whom will cherish the memories they created together throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Conway Kidd and Nanny Margaret King Kidd.
