Ronnie Gainey

Ronnie M. Gainey age 71 passed away April 23. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Becky Boykin will officiate. Burial will be in the New Market Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Ronnie was born in Hartsville a son of the late Peter M. and Mamie Oneal Gainey. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company after 32 years of service and was a member of the Old Timers Club.

Surviving are one daughter, Kimberly (William) Moree, Darlington; two sons, Keith (Karen) Gainey, Hartsville and Kevin Gainey, Hartsville; three grandchildren. Dustin (Rachel) Moree, Hartsville, Jonathan Moree, Hartsville and  Savannah Gainey, Hartsville; three sisters, Ruby Dampier, Hartsville, Elizabeth Langbehn, Inglewood, Florida and Beatrice Tabias, Darlington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Rogers Gainey.
