Funeral services for Ronald " RB " Blackwell age 68 will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at the Bible Truth Holiness Church. Rev. Hazel Mixon and Mr. Jeff Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ronald was born in Darlington a son of the late Thomas Early Blackwell and Kathleen Weatherford Blackwell. He was employed with CP&L for 26 years and retired from Darlington County Roads and Bridges. He was a member of Bible Truth Holiness Church. He was an MP in U.S. Army and loved playing Golf, the Clemson Tigers, Deer Hunting and Fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene Grantham Blackwell, Hartsville; one son, Jason (Betsy) Blackwell, Summerville; three daughters, Miranda (Anthony) Little, Darlington, Leigh (Josh Shuler) Mills, Walterboro and Shirley (Brandon) Moore, Florence; Special granddaughter whom he raised Gracyn Grantham, Hartsville; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Charles Blackwell, McBee; two sisters, Grace (Ronald) Caskey, Hartsville and Ann Sams, McBee. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Blackwell and two sisters, Alice Keckey and Kathy Dicerbo.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The service will be broadcasted live through Facebook on the Norton Funeral Home page.
