Robert Harold "Bubba" Rhodes

Graveside services for Robert Harold “Bubba” Rhodes age 80 will be held 2:00pm Thursday at Magnolia Cemetery.  Pastor Danny Pierce will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held following the services at the graveside.

Bubba was born in Hartsville, the son of the late Harold and Ruby Johnson Rhodes.  He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Bubby never met a stranger, you could find him most mornings, either at Carolina Pines or Hardees having breakfast and sharing stories with friends.  He loved and cherished his friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his godchildren, Ashley (Ross) Johnson, Hartsville, Kelly (Darryl) Boone, Kershaw; mother of Ashley and Kelly, Marsha (Gerald) Tanner, Hartsville cousin, Dana (Tim) Brittain, Little River; niece, Missie (Randy) Broach; nephews, Michael (Elizabeth) Bradley, Guy (Don Metz) Bradley, Dennis (Susan) Bradley, several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Rhodes, sister, Betty Bradley, brother in law, Marvin Bradley and nephew, Ray Bradley.
