Robert Gerald Howle, Sr.

Mr. Robert Gerald Howle, Sr. age 78 passed away July 11 at his residence.

Mr. Howle was born in Hartsville, a son of the late Joel Mitchell Howle and Lois Hill Hoffman. He served his country well in the U.S. Navy and will be interred in the Florence National  Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. He was a member of the DAV and was a retired Auto Mechanic.

Surviving is one daughter, Stacy (Jimmy) Jordan, Effingham, S.C.; one son, Robert Gerald (Jonna) Howle, Jr., Florence; one brother, Jesse (Elaine) Hoffman, Hartsville; one sister, Patsy Gainey, of Florida; six Grandchildren, Dylan Osborn, Dillon, Gavin Osborn, Florence, Rion Osborn, Dillon, Andrew Howle, Florence, Drayton Howle, Florence and Brennan Howle, Florence; one great grandchild, Brinleigh Packer, Florence.

No services are planned at this time.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Gretta Lenora Howle.
