Robert Hartley

Graveside services for Robert “Bob” Michael Hartley age 73 will be 3:00pm Friday at Magnolia Cemetery.  Pastor Alvin Rogers will officiate, services entrusted to Norton Funeral Home.

Bob passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Duke University Hospital.  He was born in West Point, GA, the son of the late Thomas Wesley and Elizabeth Williams Hartley.  He worked at Sonoco Products Company and Savannah Gulf Stream as a computer analyst.  He enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar.  He was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, he loved his church and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his children, Michael Hartley, Hartsville, Mary Hartley, Jane Lew, WV, James Hartley, Hartsville; brother, Butch Hartley, California; special niece, Mary Buford, Zionsville, IN; grandchildren, Brett Hartley, Brandon Hartley, Lauren Hartley; great grandchildren, Regan Hartley, Karsyn Hartley.

Preceded in death by wives, Linda Jean Hartley, Sarah Wylie Mobley; sisters, Lila Kramer and Diane Herndon.
