We are saddened to announce the passing of Richard LeRoy Nadeau. Mr. Nadeau age 73 passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at McLeod RMC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 3:00pm at St. Matthew United Methodist Church. The family will visit with friends following the services. A service of Celebration will also be held in New Jersey sometime in August.

Surviving Wife: Ruth Hendershot Nadeau residing in Bishopville, SC; s ons, Richard Jr (Suzanne) residing in Whitehouse Station, NJ, Steven (Stacie) residing in Etowah, NC, John residing in Bishopville, SC; g randdaughters: Nicole & Samantha residing in Whitehouse Station, NJ; sisters: Alice Nadeau Hendershot & Jeanne Mae Nadeau Hartman of SC; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
Predeceased father, Leroy Morris Nadeau and m other, Dorothy Mae Hellyer, brothers, William & James Nadeau, sister: Margaret Nadeau Betsko
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. In addition, he had many friends including his best friend "Jack" John Emilut.
He was 1965 Graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, NJ. A Lifelong member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 in Springfield, NJ. Started as a Green Permit holder in 1967. Became an Initiated Member on December 11, 1972. Retired in 2005 and was in good standing for 54 years. He followed in his father's and brother's footsteps as a heavy equipment operator. He was a Dirt Car Racing fan especially at Flemington Speedway. He was the winner of many Demo Derbies. He enjoyed bowling and going to casinos.
