Rhonda Evelyn Parker Pearce

Rhonda Pearce, born on December 20, 1951, in Hartsville, SC, peacefully passed away on August 12, 2024. 

Throughout her life, Rhonda found joy in simple pleasures. She had a profound love for bird watching, with a particular fondness for searching for the elusive Painted Bunting. A devoted member of the Greater Heights Baptist Church, Rhonda found solace in reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. She also had a sweet for diet Pepsi and indulged in pampering herself whenever she could. Above all, Rhonda's greatest joy came from the love she shared with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brantley Norris (Stepheny) of Lamar, and Bradley Norris (Casey) of Florence. She was a loving grandmother to Charley Grace Norris, Brantley Elise Norris, Coley Parker Norris, and Holden Elizabeth Norris. Rhonda is also survived by her brothers, William Bill Parker (late Gail Parker), Milton Parker (late Brenda Parker) and Von Parker (Linda); a special caregiver Mary Dillard.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rick Pearce, and her loyal companion, her dog Wally.

Services of Remembrance will be held at 3:00pm Thursday from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Pastor Danny Holley will officiate with burial in Westview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
