Rebecca M. Davis (Becky) age 92, passed away February 18, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born October 5, 1927 in Bethune, S.C. to Charles L. McKinnon, Sr. and Amy DuRant McKinnon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Davis, Sr. one sister Dot Findley and one brother Lock McKinnon.

Becky is survived by her sister, Nancy Bell and husband Max; sons, Charles Davis, Jr. and wife Debbie; and Ricky Davis; one daughter Rebecca Davis. She also leaves behind granddaughters, Amanda Vuppala and husband, Vasu; Tanya Wallace and husband Sidney; Step-Granddaughter, Amber Freeman and husband Jason and great granddaughters, Zahra Vuppala and Alivia Wallace and step great grandsons, Kaleb and Kaden Freeman. Becky is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Becky was employed in the personnel department at Kendall Company for 27 years and at MarMac Manufacturing for 10 years. She was a member of the Bethune Presbyterian Church where she served as organist until moving to Myrtle Beach. At that time she joined First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 at the Turkey Creek Cemetery on Highway 341 near Bethune, S.C. Rev. John Brearley will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday February 21, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville.
