Funeral services for Phyllis Woods McCoy age 52, will be held Friday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Rev. Eddie Pettit will officiate. Burial will be in the Elim Methodist Church Cemetery on Oates Hwy of Lamar. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 pm at the funeral home.

Phyllis was born in Hartsville a daughter of Calvin Artis Woods, Sr. and Barbara Jean Grantham Woods. She was employed with Hartsville Middle School for 10 years. She was strong supporter of St. Jude’s Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Ronnie L. McCoy, Jr. Lamar; her father and step mother, Calvin & Kay Woods, Hartsville; mother, Barbara Jean Grantham Woods, Hartsville; daughter, Chasity (Josh) Davidson, Effingham; son, Jason (Katie) McCoy, Hartsville; grandchildren, McKinley & Blakely Davidson, Effingham; brothers, Randy (Renee) Smith and Jimmy (Butch) (Linda) Smith, Hartsville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin (Cal) Woods, Jr.
