Upon returning from Vietnam Perry began his career by purchasing his first car hauler. Shortly thereafter he met his loving wife of 48 years, Judy. During their courtship he continued to develop his business by opening his own car dealership. Through many years of dedication, hard work and perseverance he developed both enterprises to provide for his growing family.

Understanding the blessings that had been provided to him, Perry spent countless hours volunteering his time and personal resources at Emmanuel Baptist Church & School. He was often seen mowing the grass on Saturday afternoons or driving the bus to the next school or church activity.
