Hartsville - Mrs. Penelope Ethel Hunt Ingram, 76, went to be with The Lord on Saturday evening, July 27th, 2019, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 on Tuesday afternoon, July 30th, 2019, in New Providence Baptist Church with Reverend Cliff Leonard officiating. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening, from 5-6 at Norton Funeral Home.
A native of Hartsville, Mrs. Ingram was a daughter of the late Wilson B. Hunt and Sara Atha Hunt Gainey. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and retired as a dispatcher from the Byrdtown Fire Department.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Charles Ingram, Sr. of the home; sons, Charles Ingram, Jr., and Sam (Susan) Ingram both of Hartsville; and a sister, Rebecca Clark of Hartsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Wilson Hunt, Jr.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to McLeod Hospice for their loving and tender care of Mrs. Ingram.
