Paul Casillo

Norton Funeral Home Hartsville, SC Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Paul Peter Casillo age 77, of Hartsville SC will be held Friday at 11:00am at St. Marys Catholic Church. Father Karl Roesch will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday 5-7pm at Norton Funeral Home. Paul died on September 22, 2014. He was the son of Paul and Mary Casillo of Erie PA, lost his battle with cancer at his home in Hartsville SC on Monday September 22nd. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Mickey Casillo, sons Stephen and Daniel Casillo, daughter Cheryl Henry, brother Bob Casillo and sister Judy Askins. He is also survived by granddaughter Tricina Russell and great grandchildren Andrew and Araiah Russell of Cochranton PA. Casillo was predeceased by his parents and first wife Patti and nephew Paul Askins. Casillo worked in the accounting field for many years, and he maintained a computer sales and service business since 1980. He was an active member of St Marys Catholic Church in Hartsville as a lector, Eucharistic minister, former Sunday-school teacher and choir member. He was also very active with the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic mens fraternal organization, in a number of local and regional capacities. He enjoyed volunteering with the community organization Elohim Outreach Center to share his love of computers and math with the youth of Hartsville. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A special thanks to Dorie and Sharon of McLeod Hospice for their services and compassion during his final days.
