Patricia Ann Melton

Mrs. Patricia Ann Melton, 76, of Bishopville, passed away Sunday morning, October 1^st, 2023, while at MUSC Health – Kershaw, with her family by her side.

A native and lifelong resident of Lee County, Mrs. Melton was a daughter of the late James Cleo & Lottie Belle McGee.  Patricia enjoyed working in her yards, cleaning her house, and was a sweet-loving lady.

Surviving is her husband, Vernon Melton of the home; children: Shelby Melton of Bishopville, Todd (Tamara) Melton of Cassatt, and Shaun Matthew Melton of Camden; grandchildren: Kendall Melton, Courtney Pickard, Taylor Johnson, and Grant Melton; great-grandchildren: Teagan Johnson, Leah Pickard, and Westyn Johnson; siblings, Shirley Boykin and Donald McGee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jamie Melton.

Her service will be conducted at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, October 4^th, 2023, from the Bishopville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Reverend Bruce Watford will officiate with burial following in the High Hill True Light Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
