Patricia Woods Caddell, age 88, passed away on August 5, 2023, at Morrell Nursing Home. She was born on July 20, 1935, in Hartsville. Patricia had a giving heart and will be fondly remembered for her kind nature and selfless acts.
Throughout her life, Patricia pursued various interests and careers. She found joy in interior decorating and had a natural talent for creating beautiful spaces. She worked for Coker's and served as an operator for BellSouth Telephone Company. Her attention to detail and passion for design left a lasting impact on those she worked with.
In her free time, Patricia enjoyed making flower arrangements. This creative outlet allowed her to showcase her artistic abilities while bringing beauty into the lives of others. Her floral creations were always filled with love and care, reflecting her warm personality.
On August 9, 2023, family and friends will gather at Norton Funeral Home And Crematory in Hartsville for the Funeral Service honoring Patricia's life. The service will begin at 3:00pm. A Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her granddaughter Brooke (Ricky Hill) Murray; great grandchildren Ricky Davis Hill Jr., Riley Cheryl Hill; and special niece Tammy (Johnny) Morrison; sister in law, Nell Atkinson. Patricia's love and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her surviving family members and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse B. Woods, Sr., and Victoria Griggs Woods; her beloved husband, Robert Caddell; daughter, Lisa C. Murray; siblings Otis Woods, Ruby Brooks, James Woods, Jessie Woods Jr.; son-in-law Riley Eugene Murray; great-granddaughter Daylan Riley Hill; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Patricia Woods Caddell was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. Her generosity, talent, and warm spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever surrounded by the beauty and love she brought into the world.
The family would like to give special thanks to Morrell's Nursing Home and Crescent Hospice for the special care they provided during Mrs. Caddell's sickness.
