Hartsville, SC Services for O. Marvin Berry age 61 will be held Friday, June 28 at 4:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Mr. Andrew Mason and Rev. Buddy Amerson will officiate. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5-7pm at the funeral home. Marvin passed away Tuesday due to a recent and sudden illness. He was the son of the late Wilmot George and Marion Rhodes Berry. Marvin worked for Roller Bearing Corporation (RBC) for 38 years. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He also enjoyed cooking and photographing nature. He loved his cat Little Mama. Surviving are his wife, Margie Atkinson Berry; children, Kristopher W. (Susan) Berry, Heather B. (Luis) Soto, Erin (Michael) Purvis, Reggie Atkinson, Renee Smith; niece, Dawn Catoe (Roger) Griffin, Sonya Catoe; nephews, Ricky (Sundi) Catoe and Curtis Hunter; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
