Mrs. Nelia Ann Lunn Paine, 83, of Hartsville, went to join her Lord on Wednesday evening, April 20th, 2022, while at home with her loving family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon, April 23rd, 2022, from Emmanuel Baptist Church. Reverend Brian Watts will officiate with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Paine was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late A. R. & Ruby Flowers Lunn. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and faithfully served her Lord through many areas of ministry including: card ministry, playing the piano and organ, taught Sunday School, church board secretary, bereavement ministry, missions, and always willing to help anyone in need. Nelia retired from Sonoco Products Company after 39 years of service. Although she was involved in many ministries, her greatest ministry and love was her family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ann (Mark) Bjorklund of Midland, GA and Jane (Tony) Smith of Hartsville; grandchildren: Hannah Bjorklund, Anthony Smith, Steven Bjorklund; siblings, Phil (Trish) Lunn of Hartsville and Cindy (Jim) Watts of Hartsville; and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bruhn “Bobby” Paine, Jr.; siblings, Betty Lloyd and her husband, Charles “Chuck” Lloyd and Allen Marvin Lunn.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Regency Southern Care Hospice and several special members of their staff: Mrs. Victoria, Mrs. Brittani, Mrs. Nijia, Mrs. Shelia, Mrs. Meg, Mrs. Leah, Mrs. Sherby, Pastor Leo, Dr. Miranda, Mrs. Carey, and Mrs. Elaine.
