Nancy June Brogdon Hatchell

Mrs. Nancy June Brogdon Hatchell, age 68 passed away January 7, 2024 at home with her daughter Ann by her side. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 11th at 11:00 am at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Sim Tyner, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00 pm at the Manning Cemetery in Manning, S.C. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

 

Mrs. Nancy was born on June 22, 1955 in Manning, S.C., a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Brogdon. She was a stay home mother to her children, while her husband provided for the family. She had a love for horses, going on outings with her daughter, loved all of the animals especially her dog, Sassy who she leaves behind to cherish her memory. Mrs. Nancy never met a stranger and had such a strong will about her no matter what life brought her way. 

 

Surviving are her daughter Ann (Rafa) Hernandez of McBee, S.C., grandchildren Joshua (Sara) Hatchell, Dylan (Kateland) Hatchell and Robert Heath; Great Grandchildren, Leeland Hatchell, MacKenzlee Hatchell. As well as her Special Friend Dianne Bennehaly. 

 

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Brogdon, her beloved husband Elvey Hatchell, Son Joey Hatchell, Sisters Betty Brogdon and Joy Brogdon, Brothers Robert "Tee" Brogdon and Buddy Brogdon.
