Mrs. Luvina Stephens

Bethune, S.C.

Funeral services for Luvina M. Stephens age 87 will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Rev. Jack Cobb and Rev. Homer Hinson will officiate. Burial will be in the Stephens Family Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stephens was born in Cassatt a daughter of the late Sam & Irene Hatfield Rabon, Sr. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Surviving are four daughters, Sarah Campbell, Cassatt, Jeanette Heider, Bethune, Phyllis (Shorty) Wallace, Hartsville and Judy Hopkins, Cassatt; three sons, William (Lynette) Stephens, Bethune, Bobby (Margaret) Stephens, Cassatt and David (Kathy) Stephens, Cassatt; 18 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A special friend of 43 years Larry Wilson, Bethune. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Lincoln (Bill) Stephens II; three sons, James Thomas Stephens, A.L. (Doc) Stephens, III and Infant Stephens; two sisters, Ruby Clyburn and Bertha Bass; four brothers, Lloyd, Curtis, Sam Jr. and Olin Rabon.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Tonya, Mary and Dena Marie of Tri County Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Stephens.
