Mrs. Lois Amerson

Hartsville, S.C.

Funeral services for Lois Truett Amerson, age 91, will be held Saturday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Hazel Mixon and Rev. James R. Samuel, D.Th. will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Amerson died April 5, 2017. She was born May 28, 1925 the daughter of the late Jessie James and Emmie Beasley Truett. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Amerson was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She was retired from Kimbrell’s Furniture Company.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Beth) Amerson and Robbie Amerson of Hartsville; daughter in law Louise Amerson, Florence; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Amerson; son, Don Amerson; daughter, Patsy Amerson Gainey.

The family would like to thank Hospice Tri-County for all of their care and support. We would like to especially thank Bonnie, Meg, Jamie, Dr. Browning and Barbie.
