Memorial services for Mrs. Clara Ruth Helms age 63 will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 5:00pm at Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Pastor Wayne Windham will officiate.

Mrs. Helms passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the McLeod Hospice House. She was born in New Milford, CT the daughter of the late Werner and Rita Weiss Schroter.

Surviving are her children, Charles William Schroter and his wife Sarah, Allan Richard Javery and his wife Julia; siblings, Hans J. Waldmann and his wife Mary Ellen, Bernhard Schroter and his wife Lydia, Rose Schroter L. Howle and her husband Jennings Bryan Howle, Jr.; grandchildren, Summer Schroter, Wil Thor Schroter, Barrett Javery; nieces, Heidi W. Dragonette, Erika W. Sherman, Marlene L. T. Porter, Ingrid L. Collins, Erin H. Brickle, Kimberly H. Walker; nephews, Bradley J. Howle, J. Bryan Howle; grandnephews, Jesse Tengowski, Corey Collins, Christopher J. Bachman, Cody Sherman, Jason Dragonette; grandnieces, Kerisa T. St. Amore', Leanne Tengowski, Emily N. Bachman, Megan Dragonette

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Charles William Bachman.
